The story of "Qatif Girl", the woman who was sentenced to prison and to receive 200 lashes for the crime of being a rape victim who sought justice,not silence.
These people are our allies. And these are the people who have been friends of the Bush Clan for at least three or four generations and who have helped fund Chimpy's political career. It seems that concepts such as "freedom," "democracy" and "justice" are concepts that Chimpy only cares about inflicting on his enemies, not on promoting among his friends.
Saudi Arabia. Egypt. Pakistan. Uzbekistan. Among others. When change comes to those nations, as it inevitably will, do not be surprised if the people remember that we stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the oppressive regimes that governed those nations.
We will, in time, reap a bitter harvest, indeed.
