Daily Reminder

DHS and ICE are fascist organizations trying to persecute people for exercising their Constitutional rights.

No sane person should have any friends who work for either groups. Those who work there should not be employable for any job that heretofore hasn't been done by migrant labor.

And that goes for the FBI, as well. Hell, it goes double for them.

FBI is As Fascist As It Was in the Hoover Era, Now Joined by DHS

Members of community groups and non-profits are outraged by revelations that federal law enforcement infiltrated community meetings and surveilled anti-ICE activists in Minnesota over the winter.

Minister JaNaé Bates, co-executive director of the non-profit Faith in Minnesota, said sending undercover federal agents into meetings at places like churches and union halls is a “horrific” violation, because those are spaces where people safely gather to exercise basic rights like free speech.

“It is something that the American people and Minnesotans absolutely shouldn't tolerate,” Bates said. “Nothing is normal about departments being weaponized against people who are doing what Minnesotans do: love their neighbors and take care of them, deliver them food, make sure that they're safe.”
...
The revelations about widespread surveillance are contained in legal documents released Thursday as part of a motion for discovery in the case of 15 Minnesotans charged with felony conspiracies tied to anti-ICE protests.

The incomplete reports show federal agents scanning license plates outside protests and compiling personal information on people as part of a program they called Operation Puppet Master. The program was apparently intended to find what the government described as "violent opportunists," but undercover agents seem to have focused mostly on meetings in church basements and public protests. The federal government also subpoenaed financial records from local nonprofits and labor unions they saw as supporting anti-ICE efforts
.

This is the same authoritarian bullshit that the FBI pulled during the 1960s. Doesn't matter if you have a Constitutional right to protest, the FBI and the DHS is going to put you under a microscope. Note that their agents tried to gin up "direct action", but the people of Minneapolis didn't take the bait.

None of these birds should be allowed to function in a civilized society. They are our Nazis and they should be ostracized.

Protest the Feds and You're a Domestic Terrorist

That is, essentially, the view of DHS and ICE. Even observing a protest is enough to land you in their databases.

They deny it, of course, but there is clear evidence that they are doing that.

ICE, DHS, the FBI (of course) are secret police who regard the Bill of Rights as an impediment to their work of stomping down everyone who opposes the Demented Elderly Orange Rattenanführer.

The FBI's Make-a-Wish Kid

When Kash Patel visited Hawaiʻi last summer, the FBI took pains to note the director was not on vacation, highlighting his walking tour of the bureau's Honolulu field office and meetings with local law enforcement.

Left out of FBI's news releases was an exclusive excursion that Patel took days later when he participated in what government officials described as a “VIP snorkel” around the USS Arizona in an outing coordinated by the military. The sunken battleship entombs more than 900 sailors and Marines at Pearl Harbor
.

Someone had an idea: Make a reality show of Trump officials defiling national monuments. Pretty Boy Pete can rappel off the face of Mt. Rushmore. Dumbshit Markwayne can zipline over Gettysburgh. Little Marco can set up a hot tub at Yellowstone.

"I read something like this and I think: Some of us have been so focused on their authoritarianism and abuse of power and lawlessness that we’ve perhaps neglected to point out the additional fact that these are also just terrible humans—lacking class, grace, kindness or dignity."-- Bill Kristol

J. Edgar Boozer's Gifts

He gives away personalized bottles of bourbon.

The FBI has traditionally had a zero-tolerance approach to unauthorized use of alcohol on the job and for its misuse while off duty. But that standard is bending under Patel’s leadership, one former agent told me. “It is so weird and uncomfortable,” this person said. Another former agent described the bottles as “demoralizing,” because they suggest one set of standards for the director and another for the rest of the bureau.

One might bet that the makers of Woodford Reserve are less than please to be publicly linked to the Trump Administration's shorter alcohol abuser.

The article notes that FBI agents are worried about the reputational damage that Patel is doing to the agency. IMO, that ship has sailed.

J. Edgar Boozer Sues!

He's suing for reports on his getting frequently blitzed.

Kash Patel has followed through on a threat to sue the Atlantic and the author of a story the magazine published that included allegations of “excessive drinking” as well as “conspicuous inebriation and unexplained absences” while in charge of the FBI.

He's going to learn of the Streisand Effect because, every time there is a story on the news about this case, the allegations of his excessive drinking will receive a fresh airing. Because his boozing is a far more relatable story than his use of the FBI jet to go see his girlfriend or his assigning HRT agents to be her security detail.

Dogpile on the FBI's Make-a-Wish Boy

Normally, I'd try to amass a few, but fuck that guy. Taking a government jet to go get hammered at a hockey game is abusive spending at its finest.

Six years ago, SecNav flew halfway around the world in his government jet to scream at the crew of an aircraft carrier, but even that was kinda sorta offical business.

This, on the other hand, is as big a case of abuse as Dachau Barbie allegedly screwing her brains out on a government luxury 737.

Maybe I'm Piling on the FBI's Make-a-Wish-Boy Director

But I don't think so:

Make-a-Wish-Boy, When He Didn't Have Access to a Gummint Jet

Kash Patel in 2023: “I’m just saying Chris Wray doesn’t need a government funded G5 jet to go to vacations. Maybe we ground that plane. $15,000 every time it takes off. Just a thought.”

He's a little troll. His one function is flying around in his taxpayer-paid ride to show up at high-profile crime scenes with his child-sized raid jacket and toy badge, like he's real police.

Ka$h Living Large on our Dime

He took the FBI jet to Milan to watch hockey games. That cost us $75K or more.

Of course, like any good bureaucrat on a government boondoggle, he scheduled a meeting or two to justify the trip.

100% Fully Mockable Bullshit

Ol' Kashyap Patel is handing out these challenge coins:

Of the FBI directors, Hoovel was evil while Patel is nothing more than a clownshoe-wearing buffoon,

Friday, December 5, 2025

If Any Other FBI Director Since Hoover Had Done This, His Head Would Have Rolled.

FBI Director Kash Patel has — on more than one occasion — ordered that the security detail protecting his girlfriend escort one of her allegedly inebriated friends home after a night of partying in Nashville, according to three people with knowledge of the incidents.

Patel’s girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, asked FBI agents on her security team at least two times, including once this spring, to drive her friend home, and agents objected to diverting from their assignment, said the sources, who were granted anonymity to discuss nonpublic matters. But Patel insisted they do as Wilkins requested and in one case called the leader of Wilkins’ security detail and yelled at him to do so.

And you know, don't you, that a certain walleyed blogger would have been screaming blue bloody murder if Chris Wray had had members of his security detail escord a drunken friend home. But it's just peachy for Patel's main squeeze to do it.

The FBI is a joke under his "leadership". Patel's only interested in having fun and getting his ugly face on camera.

Bongino Admits That He Was a Lying Whore and He Will Be Again

He said as much to Sean Hanity.

Was he paid by Russia or Murdoch back then to help destroy American democracy?

Nobody knows, but one thing is clear: Bogino will go on TV and swear that the Sun rises in the west and your eyes are lying to you when you see it come up over the eastern horizon, if somebody pays him enough to do it. He's an untrustworthy propagandist who will tell you whatever bullshit desired by the person who is handing him a large paycheck.
