Orange Felon Can't Tell Me What to Do

Words of Advice:

DONALD TRUMP IS A CONVICTED FELON (AND EPSTEIN'S BFF). CASE CLOSED.

Mike Johnson to Texas Flood Victims: Fuck You, Yer On Yer Own

That's pretty much his message, but he gussied it up with the usual blather about thoughts and prayers.

Questions and an Observation

The same questions sort of apply to the felon-in-chief, except that I suspect that he is not as wealthy as he pretends to be.

And now this:

There is nothing good. I can say about that man, either. I would not be surprised to learn that his diet includes helpings of roasted puppies. He seems to be truly evil, a man who uses the Bible to justify whatever ill intent he has for everybody else.

The Christian Taliban and School Shootings

It has seemed to me, that after the vast majority of school shootings, you can count on some Christian nujob whining that none of them would have happened if we allowed formal prayer in schools.

But the last couple of shootings have been at Christian religious private schools, where, one would presume, there is an abundance of formal (compulsory) prayer.

That would seem to me as pretty good evidence that prayer, as a way of preventing school shootings, is roughly as effective as summoning the League of Armed Unicorns.

If You Are Pregnant and in Texas, You Are Gambling With Your Life

Because if you have a miscarriage, the doctors in Texas will cheerfully let you bleed out instead of treating you using best practices. It keeps happening.

The women who bleed out and die during miscarriages are a blood sacrifice to the Christian Taliban's Cult of the Fetus. Those who call themselves "pro-life" are bathing in the blood of dead women.

Oklahoma Public Schools: Bibles, not Competence

While Oklahoma fights to put Bibles in all of its classrooms, it's worth noting that almost every quality assessment ranking that one can find puts Oklahoma public schools at or near the bottom. They are worse than the states that traditionally had the worst schools in the country: Alabama and Mississippi.

One has to wonder why the state school administrators are engaging in culture wars instead of doing the hard work of ensuring that their charges receive a quality education.

But we know the answer to that. Engaging in culture wars impresses the mouthbreathing anacephanic MAGAs. Giving their kids a quality education might mean teaching them to think and evaluate on their own, rather than accept the intellectual bilge being shoveled out by their parents and pastors. And we simply can't have that, can we.

Hmmm

The TOFF and widdle Elon have seventeen kids between them by six women.

Now, imagine if they were both women. Imagine the utter meltdown that the Right and the Christian Taliban would be having. Imagine the attack ads they would be running. Imagine the 24/7 misogyny from Republicans.

But when men do it, such as both of those Russian Assets, silence.

Anyway, just tossing this in:

The FOFF can't bring himself to denounce speakers at his MSG hate rally, instead, calling it an "absolute love fest."

Oklahoma Christian Taliban Sleeps With Trump

The Christian Talibanistas who control the school system there are requiring that the Bibles that will be placed in school are the FOFF's brand. Which sell for $60-90 a copy and you know, don't you, that there is no such thing as a volume discount for Trumpist merch.

Three million taxpayer dollars to buy Bibles from Felon^34 or his drug-addled kid.

Stupid and/or corrupt seems to describe Baja Kansas.

The Lying Sofaphile

Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance says Donald Trump would not support a national abortion ban if elected president and would veto such legislation if it landed on his desk.

The TOFF lies and so does the Couching Hillbilly. Demented Donnie has been bleating for years that he is oh, so proud of appointing the Christian Nationist justices who struck down reproductive freedom. He has proposed a national abortion ban before. The only reason he is backing away from that is because only his American Taliban supporters want one.

You could lay a good bet that if he got in and a MAGA congress sent him such a bill, he would sign it in a New York second. I doubt that you'd get odd, though.

Hurricane Forecasts if the FOFF Wins

They'll be made by divination and looking at the entrails of sheep. Because the Christianist conservatives want to get rid of the National Weather Service and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. Which includes the National Hurricane Center. They want to sell off the airplanes used to track and research hurricanes and, in short, turn everything over to the private sector.

At the present time, the fact that anyone can get forecast and weather products for free from the government acts as a check on companies that provide forecasts. If the TOFF and his acolytes kill off the NWS, then the skies will be the limit for what it will cost to get weather information.

I see two basic principles for Projet 2025 and the lunatic who wants to be the FOFF's CoS: Embracing Christian fascism and pushing the selling off of government functions that began under Good Ol' Racist Ronnie.

Betcher Ass the Christian Taliban (and the COFF) Want to Bring This Back

"The American Plan", in which women could be arrested and held without charges for no good goddamned reason at all.

It was another idea of the Wilson administration. Wilson was probably the most bigoted American president in between Andrew Jackson and Richard Nixon. He only approved of white Southerners and their genteel/subservient women.

But you know, don't you, that the Christofascists want to bring it back.

This Christian Nationalist Religious Indoctrination in Baja Kansas Is Brought to You by the TOFF and His Supremes

Oklahoma’s top education official ordered public schools Thursday to incorporate the Bible into lessons for grades 5 through 12, the latest effort by conservatives to incorporate religion into classrooms.

The directive drew immediate condemnation from civil rights groups and supporters of the separation of church and state, with some calling it an abuse of power and a violation of the U.S. Constitution.

The order sent to districts across the state by Republican State Superintendent Ryan Walters says adherence to the mandate is compulsory and “immediate and strict compliance is expected."

Whose Bible, exactly? Which sect's version of it?

This is state-mandated religious indoctrination by the Christian Taliban, plain and simple. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. And I suppose that Walters is going to send in goons in jackboots and leather trenchcoats to ensure that his orders are being carried out.

Religious indoctrination of children, using state-sanctioned texts. How does this, in spirit, differ from Saudi-funded madrassas?

This is what you get since the Christian Nationalist bigots and the MAGAites have taken over the GOP. If you are OK with kids undergoing forced religious indoctrination, then I am sure of one thing: You are no American that the Founding Fathers would have recognized.

Bring on the Lawyers, Louisiana Ed.

That is correct. They are going to have to display all of them or pull down the Ten Commandments after enacting this stupid law. All Louisiana has done is to ensure that a lot of lawyers are going to be making a lot of money that will all be paid by the taxpayers of Louisiana.

Which will serve them right.

Dementia Donnie and the Commanderments

He seems to be amazed that anybody has heard of, let alone read, the Ten Commandments

Donald Trump told a group of evangelicals they “cannot afford to sit on the sidelines” of the 2024 election, imploring them at one point to “go and vote, Christians, please!”

Trump also endorsed displaying the Ten Commandments in schools and elsewhere while speaking to a group of politically influential evangelical Christians in Washington on Saturday. He drew cheers as he invoked a new law signed in Louisiana this week requiring the Ten Commandments to be displayed in every public school classroom.

“Has anyone read the ‘Thou shalt not steal’? I mean, has anybody read this incredible stuff? It’s just incredible,” Trump said at the gathering of the Faith & Freedom Coalition.

Funny how he starts off with the commandment that he has probably broken every working day of his life. Whether fraud or outright theft, that's how he rolls.

By now, nobody should be shocked that the Christian Taliban has hitched their wagon to the most irreligious man ever to seek the White House. The only way that he would have opened a Bible would be if he was told that it was written by Hitler and that his name was featured on every page.

GOP Is Coming For Your Bedroom

The party of limited government is only interested in making it easier for the rich to get richer. But as for the rest of you, they're more than happy to regulate what you do in the bedroom.

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he was open to supporting regulations on contraception and that his campaign would release a policy on the issue “very shortly,” comments that he later said were misinterpreted.

The comments, made during an interview with a Pittsburgh television station, suggested that a future Trump administration might consider imposing mandates or supporting state restrictions on such highly personal decisions as whether women can have access to birth control. During an interview with KDKA News, Trump was asked, “Do you support any restrictions on a person’s right to contraception?”

“We’re looking at that and I’m going to have a policy on that very shortly,” Trump responded, according to a video of the interview that was briefly posted online before it was supposed to air, then taken down.

The more bat-shit crazy wing of the GOP, including Clarence the Corrupt, have been open in saying that they want to overrule Griswold v. CT, negate any right to privacy and get the government into regulating what people do in their bedrooms and what publications they can read. The TOFF is signaling that he is OK with all that, including using the Comstock Act to prohibit the mailing of anything that the Christian Taliban views as being improper.

Which is pretty much anything other than religious tracts.

If you don't want to live in a religious theocratic dictator ship, don't vote for a Republican. Any Republican. At any level of government. Because those neo-Nazis/Talibanistas are out there.
