But not high-flying political celebrities like Harold Ford, who has had a residence in New York City for nearly three years and has held a "job" as a Merrill Lynch vice-chairman for all of that time. He has not filed a New York State or New York City tax return for all of that time, even though both the City and the State impose income taxes on non-residents.
Harold Ford is just another rich tax cheat. Maybe it's about time that he have a conversation with Cyrus Vance, Jr. Preferably before a judge.

This reminds me of another tax issue that gets my shorts in a knot - the TV commercials that claim to cut multiple thousands of dollars off the amount of taxes owed by folks with large tax bills. There are probably a few people who are taxed incorrectly but the commercials don't say anything about the tax computation being "wrong" - they only claim to be able to lower your outstanding tax bill for those who owe (usually over $10,000) taxes. The business just stinks.
Harold Ford is such a fraud. He has changed his position on a number of issues over the years. He changes based on what he thinks will garner the most votes at the time. Trying to nail him down is like the old jello to the wall analogy. Political sleaze.
A “slime ball” is a fair description of him.
