Wingnut Welfare Fraud

Wingnut Corporate Welfare Queens are defrauding the government:
Two former employees of Blackwater Worldwide have accused the private security contractor of defrauding the government for years with phony billing, including charging for a prostitute, alcohol and spa trips.

In newly unsealed court records, a husband and wife who once worked for Blackwater said they had personal knowledge of the company falsifying invoices, double-billing federal agencies and charging the government for personal and inappropriate items whose real purpose was hidden. They said they witnessed "systematic" fraud on the company's security contracts with the State Department in Iraq and Afghanistan, and with the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina.
Only these Wingnut Welfare Queens ride around in Gulfstreams. They'd regard riding in a Caddy as slumming.

Given the number of criminal acts by Blackwater mercs, wouldn't they qualify as a criminal enterprise?

Ha.

Finally someone comes clean and it's actually reported.

It doesn't sound too strange to me though - a lot like Westinghouse in the 80's when they saw the Reagan Cold War military budget frauds ending.

Thanks for the reporting!

And Blackwater, of course, will simply blame "disgruntled former employees", just as Nixon blamed "disgruntled former employees" for his troubles after the Saturday Night Massacre. Of course, if you fire employees who disagree with you breaking the law, of course they'll be former employees ;). But WTF, it's a talking point, right? It doesn't have to make sense, it just needs to get repeated as an excuse until people forget it doesn't make sense...
