The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to block Tuesday's scheduled execution of sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad.His attorney, of course:
Muhammad's attorney, Jonathan Sheldon, says "Virginia will execute a severely mentally ill man who also suffered from Gulf War Syndrome the day before Veterans Day."Cry me a river. That guy killed a lot of people in more states than just Virginia and Maryland. That "severely mentally ill man" was able to plan and execute all of those attacks.
And now it is his turn to be executed. Yes, I think the death penalty is over-used. Yes, I think that there have been executions based on flimsy evidence, junk science, a prosecutors who went for emotional appeals to cover up those failings. But there are cases where the death penalty is warranted and I believe this to be one of them.
One of the DC Snipers will probably die tomorrow. Cry me a river.

Agreed-some just have to go that's the way it is. Others need to go even worse so we can get our country back on an accountability footing meaning the Bushes. People in office need to understand there are ramifications for dastardly deeds perpetrated against our country while "serving". We know that ain't going to happen with these slugs.
