Up to 10,000 British children were forcibly migrated to Australia from the 1940s to 1967. They were a small part of the over one hundred thousand British kids who were forcibly sent to British colonies over the last two centuries. Many were put into orphanages and work farms and sexually abused.
If you read that story and this one about abuse that went on in Irish orphanages for decades on end, you may notice one common thread: The abusers were, in part, members of a religious order known as the "Congregation of Christian Brothers".
Funny thing: Those who condemn Islam as being a "religion of hate", based on the actions of a small minority of its adherents, are probably never heard to proclaim Christianity to be a "religion of pedophiles".
