Do you want to know what he thought was the "lowest moment" of his presidency?
It wasn't when Hurricane Katrina flooded New Orleans, or when the combined effects of Katrina and Rita displaced a million or so people.
It wasn't when the Iraq War proved that his premise for the war was a fib.
it wasn't that the Iraq War displaced four million Iraqi civilians and killed over a hundred thousand of them.
It wasn't when five thousand or so Americans (if you add in the contractors) died in his misbegotten war.
It wasn't when al Qaeda's terrorist pilots brought down the Twin Towers, killing nearly 3,000 people.
It wasn't when the financial markets froze up and there was a real risk that the entire baking system would go belly-up.
It wasn't when a near depression threw tens of millions of people out of work.
No, it wasn't any of that.
The worst moment of George W. Bush's presidency in his eyes was when Kanye West said: "George Bush doesn't care about Black people."
Jeez, "shallow and self-absorbed" much, Chimpy?
Beyond that, Bucko, your whole goddamned party doesn't give a shit about Black folk, let alone any other minority. The dogwhistling racism of the "take it back" slogans was proof enough of that.
