GOP to Investigate "the Fraud of Evolution"

Well, no, not yet. But they do plan to investigate their idea that global warming is fraud that is being foisted upon the world by an overarching conspiracy of thousands of scientists.

After they get done with that, they'll probably move on to investigating whether astronomers since Copernicus have been wrong and the Universe really does revolve around the Earth.

The 21st Century equivalent of the Know-Nothings* are in charge of the House of Representatives. Get used to the idea.

I think our 21st century Know-Nothings have a clearer title to the name. They embrace their ignorance with a pride worthy of a tragic hero.

It's just a movie, one of my favorites. Inherit the Wind with Spencer Tracy. The movie was made probably in 63 or 64. I think it just be viewed by everyone in the country.
explained and viewed again. I really though when I was a kid all this ignorance was starting to be put behind us.
