We, my twin sister and I were in PS 18 in Jersey. Suddenly the teachers were all out of sorts, we were sent home still not knowing what had happened...
Got home and Mom was in tears...this was an Irish Catholic household we walked around the home for day just crying...
then came Viet Nam, and my folks became republicans...then I grew up and became a liberal Democrat... Kennedy still haunts me
JFK died, a generation maybe several was blown away.
