Russian Reporter Beaten Into a Coma

It seems that Oleg Kashin was reporting on things that powerful people didn't want reported, so some thugs beat him into a coma.

The Kremlin vowed to "find and punish the criminals."

Tell it to Anna Politkovskaya or Natalya Estemirova or the hundreds of other Russian reporters who have been killed on the job.

(Dick Cheney must have been so jealous of the Russians.)
