To All of the Conservatives Who Are Applauding the Suspension/Firing of Keith Olbermann

Have you retracted your outrage over Juan Williams being fired by NPR?

The stated reason, after all, was the same in both cases: Violating the network's code of conduct.

Or is this just another tired case of "it's OK if you're a Republican"?

Since when does your employer get a legal say in what you do with your paycheck....the article said he was fired for contributing to Democratic candidates WITHOUT asking permission first. WTF?!

If that's what is in his contract, then generally, yes, they do get a say what he does with his paycheck.

Holy crap that sucks...but it still begs the question, did those contributing to the GOP "report as required" or was this just a hook to hang Olbermann upon?

A sop to prove to the GOP and teapartiers that the MSNBC brass is being "fair"?
