The Wichita Asswipe who shot and killed Dr. Tiller was convicted of first-degree murder this morning.
The jury deliberations took 37 minutes. I'm guessing that about 25 minutes was spent voting on who the jury foreman would be.

I guess this is a victory for the family but it is certainly no victory for tolerance. I hope this guy gets life+ and no more martyrs appear but I not holding my breath. Terrorism in the name of jesus is hard to even get your head around.
ReplyDeleteTerrorism in the name of Jesus is a story that's almost as old as Christianity. And if there were no Christianity, the crackpots would probably find some other religion to terrorize people in the name of.
ReplyDeleteAccording to what I read at FDL (I didn't bother to check the sources) the guy all but confessed on the stand. So, I suspect that Comrade E.B. had the jury's agenda about right.
Maybe the jury took a lil' 30 minute lunch break, too.
