No Republican voted against the FISA bill, but that's to be expected, as there are damn few Republicans left anymore who value liberty and freedom over loyalty to the Tsar of the Baboons.
The United States of America is officially now operating under the "elected tyrant" system of government. The President can ask anyone to do something that is clearly and blatantly illegal and the person and/or corporation doing the illegal act is shielded from all liability for doing so.
These are the brave souls who voted to keep freedom alive, and who were defeated:
Akaka (D-HI) Biden (D-DE) Bingaman (D-NM) Boxer (D-CA) Brown (D-OH) Byrd (D-WV) Cantwell (D-WA) Cardin (D-MD) Clinton (D-NY) Dodd (D-CT) | Dorgan (D-ND) Durbin (D-IL) Feingold (D-WI) Harkin (D-IA) Kerry (D-MA) Klobuchar (D-MN) Lautenberg (D-NJ) Leahy (D-VT) Levin (D-MI) Menendez (D-NJ) | Murray (D-WA) Reed (D-RI) Reid (D-NV) Sanders (I-VT) Schumer (D-NY) Stabenow (D-MI) Tester (D-MT) Wyden (D-OR) |
(Kennedy is still off being treated for cancer).
If your senator is not on the above list, you might want to ask your elected douchebag why they hate freedom and liberty so.

Both my SIL and MIL are incensed that Obama voted for it. I mean, vein-poppingly so.
I'm not happy about it, either. I'm working up steam for a post on Obama.
Hope and change? LOL
