I am defining "Idiocrat" as a person who derides the concepts of knowledge and intelligence in favor of a "well, I knowed better than the experts" point of view.
Clinton is an idiocrat. She is now dismissing the economists who disagree with her "gas tax holiday" as a bunch of elitists.
Where have we gotten to in this nation that having skill, knowledge and experience makes one an "elitist"? Let us be clear on this: It was a similar attitude on the part of George Bush and his idiocrats that led to our nation being mired in two quagmires at the same time. Bush and his minions couldn't listen to the experts, oh no, for they knew better than the experts.
The Bushies didn't know better than the experts. Bush and his team fucked up the Afghanistan War and the Iraq War and they have, for that matter, fucked up almost everything else to which they have set their incompetent hands. We have had almost eight years of world-class nincompoopery in the White House; the fact that 71% of the American people say that Bush is a failure and that 80% think the nation is on the wrong track shows that the Bush Administration has run out the string on "you can fool all of the people some of the time."
And Clinton wants to repeat that level of insanity with her "I know better than the experts" crap?
Give me a fucking break. George Bush is at least a marginally functioning retard who will probably take a seat on the board of the Creationist Museum. Hillary Clinton certainly knows better, but she is diligently punching her idiocrat card over the gas tax issue.
And so, I take this opportunity to apologize to all of my Wingnut friends and acquaintances, whom, back in the 1990s, I accused of suffering from "Clinton Derangement Syndrome."
You were right. I was wrong. I most humbly apologize.
The Clintons (both of them) are nothing more than the worst form of political scum around. They are only interested in power for their own aggrandizement. They will throw anyone under the bus, they will sacrifice any principle and any philosophy, if it suits them. Richard Voldemort Cheney at least has some sort of ideology he is following; the only ideology that the Clintons hold dear is whatever benefits them.
I concede the point.
