What Would Have Been Normal; Russian-American Relations Ed.

In the past, any American president, whom was presented with intelligence reports that Russian intelligence organizations were trying to influence or interfere with our electoral process, might have been expected to support sanctioning Russian interests.

But not Trump. Even when the Russians retaliated for sanctions imposed by President Obama for Russian meddling, Trump couldn't bring himself to say even the tiniest bad thing about Putin. No, Trump thanked Putin for cutting the American government's payroll.

And that, Gentle Readers, says volumes.

I suspect that if the Russians fired off a nuke and leveled Chicago, Trump would thank Putin for jump-starting urban renewal.

Putin must have one hell of a grip on Trump's gonads. And others are noticing.

Totally partisan and anti Trump media, all of them.

They won't ever say anything decent about him.

They haven't ever done anything but criticize. From before the election. Their credibility is GONE.

So B., enlighten us as to the unbiased media, please.

Oh, just as a matter of interest, has Trump Inc. invested in companies that make fallout shelters recently?

Every news outlet, even Fox News has reported on the attempts by Russia to interfere or influence our election. To what degree they were successful we can debate until the cows come home.

Right now, this game of nuclear chicken Trump is playing is very dangerous. His words are escalating the levels of tension. If he follows thru on his rhetoric, well if you didn't believe in global warming before, you soon will. If his actions don't match his words, then the USA comes across as a paper tiger and encourages other countries to stand up against us. Lose/lose situation.

Trumps mental stability has to be called into question now. He mouth is engaged but he has not used his brain to think through all the possible outcomes. Maybe that is why his family is is so close to him, to protect him. Maybe we are seeing early stages of dementia in this man. His behavior is that of a privileged, teenage high school bully.

Unfortunately America has elected a "businessman* " to run the country, when what we need at this time is a statesman. The art of the deal is not making empty threats, but getting people and events to go the way you'd like.

Molly Ivins did say that guys who have made a lot of money in business have a really hard time working in a system of checks and balances, and I believe that to be part of the trouble.

I do want to say something about the North Korea verbal conflict: President four-year-old went off on his current tear about DPRK recently after a leaked DIA document hit the media saying that they may have miniaturized a nuclear weapon far enough to be carried atop a missile. Now that would indeed be bad news if it were true, which it may be. But a couple of things about that: one, the DIA said the same thing back in 2013, and it turned out to not be true. And two, we've known they were working toward doing so for years, so why the major freak out over it now, especially since no other intelligence agency is backing up the claim? And also since he didn't lose his damn mind over it until it hit the media?
Now I'm not trying to say they haven't made progress on their weapons, I don't know jack shit about that. What I'm talking about is our president's reaction to Kim Jong Un, who has been making the same identical threats to us since at least 2013. The exact same words. But now, all of the sudden, he better not threaten the US again or Fire and Fury or some such horse shit will rain down upon him from our big, manly, powerful, four-year-old of a president.
I guess what I'm saying, and what really is kinda scary, is that this may have a lot more to do with the FBI raiding Manafort's house than anything really happening in North Korea.
He seemed genuinely troubled by that development, and that almost never happens with him.

B, why don't you stop trolling this site and back up your alt-right claims with some facts once in a while? It's tiring sifting through your propaganda all the time.
