Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced in a statement Tuesday that 22 projects, totaling $500 million, to develop vaccines using mRNA technology will be halted.

Trump's Operation Warp Speed, which quickly developed mRNA COVID vaccines, saved millions of lives. The scientists who developed the technology won a Nobel for it. mRNA vaccines should be regarded by Trump and his supporters as a shining example of his leadership.

But instead, that moronic carrion-munching lunatic that Trump put in as HHS Secretary is tearing down everything that Trump did.

One has to wonder why Trump permits it. He's certainly fired people for less.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is winding down its mRNA vaccine development activities under the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), the agency announced Tuesday.

“We reviewed the science, listened to the experts, and acted,” HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said in a statement. The winding down will include the cancellation of some contracts, he added.

“BARDA is terminating 22 mRNA vaccine development investments because the data show these vaccines fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections like COVID and flu. We’re shifting that funding toward safer, broader vaccine platforms that remain effective even as viruses mutate.”

mRNA vaccines are one of the great advances pushed through by the first Trump Administration. COVID vaccines saved millions of people and they earned a Nobel Prize.

But the far-right flat-earthers hated the idea of vaccines, preferring to take horse medicine that had, at best, a placebo effect. Thanks to those clowns, the world will get sicker and infectious diseases are roaring back.

A group of high-level managers at the Louisiana Department of Health walked into a Nov. 14 meeting in Baton Rouge expecting to talk about outreach and community events.

Instead, they were told by an assistant secretary in the department and another official that department leadership had a new policy: Advertising or otherwise promoting the COVID, influenza or mpox vaccines, an established practice there — a nd at most other public health entities in the U.S. — must stop.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent presidential campaign suffered a blow this week when a judge in New York invalidated his petition to put his name on the state ballot, a ruling that could potentially create problems for the candidate as he faces challenges elsewhere.

Justice Christina Ryba said Monday that the place in New York City’s suburbs that Kennedy listed as a residence on nominating petitions was a “sham” address he used to maintain his voter registration and to further his political aspirations. The judge ruled in favor of the challengers, who argued Kennedy’s actual residence was the home in Los Angeles he shares with his wife, the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor Cheryl Hines.

Thomas and his wife, Virginia, took a round-trip flight between Hawaii and New Zealand in November 2010, according to international flight records maintained by Customs and Border Protection, Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., wrote.

Crow has a Bombardier Global Express, which costs roughly ten grand an hour to fly. Washington, DC to New Zealand is a 17,000 mile round-trip, which is over 30 hours of flying. So, three hundred grand, give or take, to make that trip. I doubt if Crow's jet has airline-style seating, plus they probably took a relief crew with them. My SWAG is that Crooked Clarence and QAnon Ginny's seats cost around fifty grand, and you can bet your ass that they weren't paying for hotel rooms or food in New Zealand.
