"11th Time's the Charm?"

WAn Atlanta rapper who called himself "bulletproof" after surviving 10 shootings was shot and killed by an unidentified gunman Sunday evening in DeKalb County, Ga., according to officials.
A casual observer might wonder what sort of shit that guy was involved in which led to him being shot ten previous times.

Really, and you determined that how?

So a guy who changes and tries to do something else remains what he was? So Donnie is a lying, real estate hustler and a Democrat, right.

A couple fewer attempts and he'd have ended up with the posthumous name, "the rapper Kitty-Kat."

What gangs, B? The ones in uniform, heavily armed and terrorizing the population with impunity? Most of which are state sanctioned?

I'm inclined to agree with B. One would think that after being shot a few times, that a little self-examination of "why and I getting shot and what can I do to not keep getting shot" might have been in order. Especially after the 6th or 7th time.

Get shot seven times in Atlanta and I'd think it would be time to pull up stakes and move.

I'm all for not getting shot the first time, it foking hurts. Blanket statements though... could have been a recording engineer, jealous wife, or even a racist vigilante.

TTB: like your 8:51 comment about "state sanctioned gangs"?

This guy might have been working on a music career, but getting shot multiple times is definitely an symptom of criminal involvement.

Yung Mazi was a hustler, till 2 years ago, when he was shot 5 times, including one to the head. He survived, recovered from brain damage and realized he had to turn his life around for his 4 children. Since then he has been music focused, so to blame gangs automatically is not fair. To clarify, he was shot at least 12 times during his life, but that is counting every bullet, so almost half the shots taken was in one incident. The "bulletproof" quote comes from a shooting in a Waffle House where he took two bullets, which added to the 5 mentioned, accounts for 7 of the 11 times shot. In that case, it was an old nemesis trying for payback on someone that made it out.
