Far be it for me to point out the Coast Guard had a presence at the D-Day landings. That's why all us ex-military respect the Coasties more than any other branch. They do the mostest with the leastest, and do it well.
With the full peacetime paint scheme, the cutter is far less warlike than the standard grey Navy vessel. Don't want to poke the bear too hard, especially in Pooty-Poot's Poti.
The Black Sea is far from any war zone for the USA. Unless Vice President Voldemort is going to get us involved in a third or fourth war.
