leave now.

I got a memorable ride in The Collings Foundation B-25 "Tondelayo" over the Quabbin Reservoir on September 14th 2019. I got to sit in the premier spot in the nose because I signed up for that flight first. It was less than a month later that their B-17 crashed at Bradley, grounding all those flights. If I knew then what I know now, I would have stayed on the ground. After reading the report, someone needs to go to prison forever. I have a great collection of stills and video from that day at Worcester Airport.
I love knowing that many of the WWII Warbirds are still flyable and or flying but I realize that won't last. But I sure enjoyed the video. And while I'll gladly pay to tour a static display I've little likelihood of flying in one of them now.
That is one of the largest groupings in the modern era! Good on them for maintaining and flying them!
Wonder if this bunch is largely from the mediocre but watchable Catch 22 film. Don't think they had a full squadron but they got together most the flyable Mitchells of that day. Different configurations and models of aircraft but that was not noticible on film.
