A gay couple was denied a marriage license for the third time in Kentucky on Thursday, after a Rowan county clerk refused to obey a federal court order telling her to comply with the law. Both a Federal court and an appellate court have ordered those mouthbreathers in Kentucky to comply with the fucking law. But they refuse.
James Yates and William Smith Jr said that officials at Rowan County courthouse, led by clerk Kim Davis, refused to provide the couple with the paperwork for a marriage license on Thursday.
Betcherass that the Rowan County courts have no problems with issuing arrest orders for people who don't obey their rulings. But the County Clerk feels that she is entitled to rise above the law and do whatever the fuck she feels like. Because Jesus. Or something.

The clerk is an elected position, so she will keep her job until removed from it.
Time for the US Attorney to request an arrest warrant, eh ?
bearsense, you crack me up!
Actually, the Federal court could cite her for contempt.
She's hoping for a jackbooted government thug to show up at the office to arrest her. Slowly-accumulating fines for contempt of court are much less telegenic. They would grind her down better, too, because religious principles don't stand a chance against finance.
