EB, I found out the Nevada Railroad Museum in Carson has a program like this. I'll be looking into it. They're only 4 hours away.
So I see. A little more expensive than the CTVRR, but you get almost double the time.
Go for it. You won't regret it.
(And screw doing the diesel.)
Lot further, too, and through a tunnel! You get maybe 8 miles or so on the CTVRR. And on the CTVRR, they can't turn the engine around, you have to run it ass-first half of the time.
