As has has been pointed out elsewhere, the lower courts in the tariff cases issued injunctions against Trump's tariffs. Those injections were sustained by the appellate courts.
The Supremes could have what the injections stand while the case was ordered. Instead, they overturned the injunctions. They would've been no issue about refunds if sthe justices had done their fucking job in the first place.
But no. Half of the conservatives were gutless weasels who didn't want to stand up to Trump until it was absolutely unavoidable.
