He took the FBI jet to Milan to watch hockey games. That cost us $75K or more.
Of course, like any good bureaucrat on a government boondoggle, he scheduled a meeting or two to justify the trip.

A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

I'd love to see him get the bill for that trip.
And he should.
But then again, if we started charging people like that for their trips, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle (and lots of government officials and higher ranking military officers) would likely go bankrupt...
The solution is simple. If they have an official need to go then they fly commercial like all the other peons. Then they have to record how much time spent on official business, for example at least an 8 hour day's worth, and how much on going to events like the Olympics. Then they are reimbursed the percentage that they actually worked.
Ka$h was bery critical of Chris Wray’s use of the jet, so this is gold-medal hypocrisy.
I don’t see what he does as critical. His main focus seems to be showing up in his child-sized raid jacket and getting his picture taken. “Figurehead” overstates his role.
