The Dumbest Governor in the Country May Not Be Just Dumb

He may also be evil.

You may recall Gov. Kemp of Georgia, who only discovered early this month that the Coronavirus was being transmitted by people who were not showing symptoms. Three weeks later, Governor Kaiser Blade decided, against the advice of everyone who knows about pandemics, to reopen his state.

However, it seems that there may be a more evil motive at play other than good old greed:
A CDC study released Wednesday found that over 80% of the COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Georgia last month were black. It's the latest analysis showing that communities of color are being hit disproportionately hard by the coronavirus.
This graph from the study is also interesting:

So, is Kemp betting on a resurgence of the coronavirus in Georgia that would mainly kill off people who wouldn't vote for him?

Meanwhile, in Brazil, the Trump clone leading the country, Bolsonaro is doing nothing other than shrugging his shoulders:
More than 5,000 Brazilians have lost their lives to the coronavirus – even more people than in China, if its official statistics are to be believed.

But on Tuesday night Brazil’s president shrugged off the news. “So what?” Jair Bolsonaro told reporters when asked about the record 474 deaths that day. “I’m sorry. What do you want me to do?”
Bolsarno is probably making the same bet that Kemp is: The virus will ravage through people he disapproves of.

No matter what the world does, the disgusting idea of racial eugenics won't die.

Neither will Blamer mode, but eventually one can learn to recognize it and tune it out.

This afternoon, on the heels of a widely panned formal Oval Office address, Donald Trump assembled a group of scientific and corporate leaders to talk about dealing with the coronavirus. You can watch the whole thing on the White House YouTube channel.

I suspect that we’ll see one line from this conference played frequently in the months ahead. You can watch it starting at around 1:22:00, when reporter Kristen Welker of NBC asks Trump whether he takes responsibility for the lag in making test kits available.

Trump’s reply:

No.

I don’t take responsibility at all.

Narrowly parsed, and in full context, Trump was referring only to the test kits — and was continuing his (fantasized) complaint that rules left over from 2016, under the Obama administration, are the real reason the U.S. has been so slow to respond to this pandemic.

Just like Trump taking no responsibility, Pence said he didn't need to since he was tested regularly. Pence's wife is now claiming that he didn't know of the Mayo Clinic rule visitors required to wear masks. Even though the VP's entire entourage wore masks during the visit, this is their new claim: ignorance. On second thought, that claim is valid. But not in the way they would like.

In any other time these fools would be laughed out of office.

Then there is Pence saying that he didn’t wear a mask because he wanted to be able to look people in the eyes.

I don’t know how he wears a facemask, but he is definitely a special kind of stupid.

Kemp is avoiding financial responsibility for the pandemic by "opening" the state and thus denying unemployment benefits to workers who won't go to work for fear of infection.

B.P., if you're referring to holding Trump to account "Blamer Mode", then allow me to direct your attention to all of the Benghazi investigations.

Four Americans died at Benghazi because, as the Batshit Right claims, Hillary Clinton.

Tens of thousands of Americans have died because Trump sat on his hands and concentrated on fluffing his ego.
