Gunnie Stuff

Here, doggie, doggie, doggie! Jest a leetle closr, plz.
moar funny pictures

Anyway, I received the latest copy of "American Rifleman" in my mail. Sig-Sauer has released a new and improved 5.56mm black rifle, just like very other fricking gun manufacturer on the planet. And, in a stunning bit of innovation (or adopting an innovation that dates back 40 years), Sig is using a gas-piston to drive the bolt on their AR. The article doesn't mention whether the rifle takes STANAG magazines.

By now, wouldn't it be a far shorter list to name the companies that don't make a 5.56mm AR?

Seriously, though, if you have an AR already and you want a gas-piston system, why not just save a boatload of cash and buy a new barreled upper receiver for your rifle?
