Soupy Sales has died. He was 83.

Oh, no.
I loved Soupy Sales. He was part of my family's bonding ritual.
Everyone in my house loved him except for my mother, who thought he was a jackass.
So sad to hear of his departure.

It is a measure of his life that I have seen the largest number yet, of blogs marking his passing. I hope he teaches St Peter how to get them with a pie before he lets people through the gates.
