So Much Blood

During a peaceful demonstration in Tehran on June 20th, a 16 year-old girl named Neda was shot to death by a paramilitary sniper.

  1. The sad thing is that she wasn't even part of the demonstration. Her car was stuck in traffic and she got out to get some fresh air while waiting for traffic to start moving again (it is *hot* in Tehran right now). But the fact that she was wearing jeans and only a brief headscarf rather than formal hijab was apparently enough for the vicious bastards to target her.
