Party of Hoover Hates the "Fairness Doctrine"

They say they do.

So why give the party that is out of power "equal time" after a presidential speech? Who the frak watches them, anyway? I don't watch them, I never have, and I don't remember anyone, other than a political junkie or a reporter, ever saying they watched the rebuttal speech.

2 Brickbats Thrown:

  1. Jindal showed why equal time is a good thing. His speech reinforced my view that Obama has an idea of how to get out of this mess, the the "Party of Hoover' can only respond by saying 'tax cuts'. If the (R)s keep up like this, we may have almost all the seats in both houses in 2012

  2. Ha! You make a good point. If the Republicans truly don't like the idea behind the fairness doctrine, they should have turned down the chance to rebut The President's speech last night.

Then, again, Marc makes a good point. Let them keep talking. The more rope to hang themselves with and all that.
