Destroying Our Government; Public Health Edition

How the corrupt ideological goons of the Bush Administration have trashed the Centers for Disease Control.

In short, if we have a national epidemic in the next several years and the government stumbles around like an addlepated drunk in trying to respond, you can blame that on George W. Bush. The Bush Administration, convinced that government is bad, has done everything in its power to ensure the result it wanted.

Osama bin Ladin would have had serial orgasms if he could have damaged our government in the way that George Bush has.

Science is. But under these incompetent and ideologically driven goons, science serves ideology. That has never worked, and two great examples are what one dictator regarded as "Jewish physics" and another, whose meddling in science was the reason why there was no such thing as a top-ranked Soviet biologist. But that doesn't stop the ideologues from trying, with the same bad results every time, which indicates that they are, to some degree, nuttier than a fruitcake.

Organizations like the Centers for Disease Control are large and complex structures, they take time to build right, but very little time to destroy.

And if there is one thing under this Sun that the Baboon King is good at, it is destroying things.
