Imperial Storm Troopers

Why do they even bother with those uniforms? The armor doesn't seem to be much more effective than wearing uniforms made of kraft paper.

The blasters also seem less accurate and deadly than a 5.56mm. They need an antique M-16 and some old kevlar armor.
