USAF PR film from the 1965 William Tell competition.
Later in the 1960s, the William Tell shoot was covered on ABC's Wide World of Sports.

A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Sam, I fear that you must have missed reading my blog description. So I'll repeat it, below, with an added bit of emphasis:
Airplanes, cats, guns, war, the more than occasional rant about the party of the Confederacy, the spinelessness of the Democraps and ramblings about anything else that flits through the somewhat offbeat mind of an armed lesbian pinko as she slides down the Razor Blade of Life.
So why a conservative political blogger would want to link to this blog is a bit of a puzzle.
What a combination: PG-porn and jingoistic bullshit...
Comrade,
The person wishes ad space in you comments for his uber conservative
blog. It might be his truly insane hope to fix the far right.
Likely just spam to get views on
his crappy blog.
Eck!
He's hit Borpatch and a few dozen other with the exact same crap.
Deadstick, UR surprised? His view is women are attractive toys and runs well with the BS.
Eck!
Hilarious. The retro graphics posted periodically while the voiceover talks about freedumb are from the Bayeaux Tapestry. You know, the story of the freedumb loving Normans who attacked the unworthy Anglo-Saxons and took over their island.
Hilarious. It's like there was no sense of irony or much else in this piece.
And, by the way, now, fifty years later, we come to find out that the Century Series of "fighters" weren't worth a crap at what they were purportedly designed for. By the time I started working airplanes in 1968, the Huns were gone, the Voodoos were gone, the Deuces were relegated to ANG (we had a squadron in JAX and worked one at MMT near CAE), the Starfighters were long gone, the Thuds were getting shot down in droves in VN (bombing, not ACM, as it turns out), and the Sixes were on their way out.
There's some real return on investment there.
