Why Karl Rove Had Best Stay Out Of New Orleans

When the city of New Orleans had been hit by Hurricane Katrina, Karl Rove saw it only as an opportunity to score political points. Not as an opportunity to help people, not as an opportunity to show that the Administration could come to the aid of Americans who were suffering.

No, not at all. It was just an opportunity to play politics.

It may never be known how many people died because the incompetent fucks in the Bush Administration were so intent on scoring political points that their first move was to gin up series of talking points, not to marshall resources and aid to help people.

Karl Rove and George Bush let a city drown because their first instinct was to play politics rather than help people.

It might be hard to make a case against Karl Rove for willful manslaughter, but that doesn't mean he isn't guilty nonetheless.
