Of Course Bush Was Lying

Remember all of the claims and defenses by Chimpy and his henchmen that they would never ever eavesdrop on Americans and that they only intercepted foreign communications?

Seems that was just another huge fib.

They were listening in on everything. It didn't matter a shit to them. It probably still doesn't.

"The NSA gained access to massive amounts of e-mail and search and other Internet records of more than a dozen global and regional telecommunications providers. AT&T allowed the agency to hook into its network at a facility in San Francisco and many of the other telecom companies probably knew nothing about it."

Thanks, AT&T. Thanks for considering the prohibitions against wiretaps without warrants to be written on toilet paper.
