Texas-based federal judge Matthew Kacsmaryk on Friday issued a ruling aiming to suspend the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of mifepristone, a common abortion drug approved for use 23 years ago that has been consistently found to be safe and effective.
So, a medication that has been in use for over two decades, one that has been found safe and effective in study after study, rules to ban the medication because it offends his ideologial sensitivites.
Funny, isn't it? The far-right as been bleating for decades about "activist judges" that "legislate from teh bench", but as soon as they can identify a judge that will rule their way, facts and legal precedent be damned, they run to him to get him to do their evil bidding.
So much for their complaints about separation of powers and such. One unelected right-wing thug dons a black robe and we're expected to bow down and kiss his ass?

ETA: The cocksucker behind the lawsuit said that it's not about abortion, it's about protecting women. A guy who can lie that broadly should be selling used cars or cryptocurrency.
