Trump's Lawyers Seem to Either Have Been Lying Through Their Teeth or They Are Incompetent AF

It seems that the charges against the Defendant have been widely used before and that the DA is on solid ground by bringing them and there is nothing unusual in bringing felony charges in New York for payments to a third party that benefit a campaign.

Meanwhile, in act of monumental stupidity, the Prime Defendant is attacking the judge in his case, as well as the judge's family. That may be fine for raising funds from the pool of MAGA saps, but when it comes time to deciding pretrial motions, any decent judge can craft an opinion that supports how he desires to rule. So the Defendant may be unwittingly doing everything he can to get convicted, and his "legal team" likely knows that.

Abuse what you can't control....

Problem is when you do that to people that can fight back
it can seriously hurt. He is now susceptible to paying the stupid tax.

I wondered what that attack will bring him. It can't be a good idea which is not surprising coming from him. I half expected a gag order and he may be working towards that now, or at least his usual self-incrimination speech. I read that he was charged with more counts than Al Capone. Another first for Donny. He doesn't want to make a second appearance and I am so sad, not. If only that door had closed a little faster and with more force. Donny has been a criminal for so long, I have great happiness at him trying to come to grips with the law part of the world. More, please.

What it all boils down to is that Trump is not, at his core, a good person. A good person does not tell over 10,000+ lies or falsehoods or alternate facts or whatever you want to call it. A good person does not take advantage of others that are in need. A good person does not cheat on his spouse (while still married), not once, not twice, but three times. A good person does not hire contractors and then not pay them the value of their work. A good person does not brag about their being is better than anyone else. A good person who claims to be a Christian, does not degrade others that are poorer than they. A good person will not look for a 'fall guy' to 'fix' things when they've erred.

To paraphrase Spike Lee, a good person DOES THE RIGHT THING. A good person will admit when they've made a mistake and accept the consequences of their actions. A good person will be honest in their dealings businesses, employees, their families, and other acquaintances. A good person will provide assistance, when they can, to others that are in need. A good person is someone who, when it is pointed out that they've harmed others, apologizes and is truly remorseful. A good person admits when they are wrong or have done wrong.

I've tried to instill in my children and grandchildren honesty, empathy, and ethics in their daily lives. I hope I haven't done this in vain.

Trump told over 21 lies a day during his term. He started with lying about the size of his inaugural crowd and ended lying about his defeat.

It worked out to 30,000 lies.

He seems to be unable to tell the truth about anything. So when he talks about how he loves America and his supporters, it's a good bet that he hates his country (except for Russia) and that he has nothing but contempt for the rubes that send him money.

When is was being brought up, many years ago, I was taught the proper way to talk about a female member of the species was to refer to them as either that lady or ladies and saying something like that women or those women would be showing less respect.
