Putin’s Big Loss Today

Finland is poised to join NATO on Tuesday, a historic realignment brought on by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but the head of the military alliance said it would not send more troops to the Nordic country unless it asked for help.

One of Little Vladdie's rationales for invading Ukraine was to keep NATO from expanding into a bordering nation. Well, that's what happened because he invaded Ukraine.

It's the Toyota Rule, as applied to military alliances: He asked for it, he got it.

As for Sweden, they are pretty much a de facto member of NATO already, regardless of what butthurt that gives Hungary and Turkey,
