The cops in Glenrock, Wyoming nearly had a riot on their hands when they shot a 76 year old man with a Taser, as the citizenry evidently realized that police brutality isn't just limited to beating on minorities and they reacted very badly to seeing an old geezer being repeatedly zapped by the police.
It is worth remembering that Tasers were introduced as a less-lethal equivalent to firearms. They were not sold as compliance/torture devices.
But that is how the cops are using them.
