A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

I live right outside of Boston, MA. And the rule up here seems to be: Using your turn signals is giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
We're not called Massholes for nothing, you know.
The Honda "Lane View" system is a great incentive to indicate. It's a small camera mounted on the underside of the passenger side mirror, and is activated on the center screen by either indicating to turn right or a button on the end of the left stalk (seems to have been chosen for it's location near the driving hand for most people, so as to encourage use of the indicator to get the camera view). Honda has it on most EX trim and higher, with it moving to most LX time soon, based upon reports.
I had heard about it, but until I got to actually use it, I didn't realize how useful it could be. Around here, in Texas, indicating seems to bring the same response as an amber traffic signal...hit the gas!
I love the ones who are already halfway into your lane with barely room to spare when they hit the blinker for a flash, or two if they are on the phone.
And then there are those who forget to turn the blinkers OFF (why aren't they all self-cancelling?) and drive for miles with a latent intention(?) and then turn the other way :-(
I think cars also need a third signal. One that means, "I'm a person who uses turn signals, but I'm not turning right now."
We have a lot of intersections around here where most all the traffic turns, and I'd feel a lot better if I knew which ones weren't going to.
Out here on the Left Coast, the use of turn signals is so rare that i find meself thanking the driver of ANY car around me that deigns to signal their intentions. The predictable results of no turn signal use, aggressive driving and face-in-phone-while-driving is an amazing uptick in the number of daily rear-ender accidents, sometimes two or three during a single commute. I shudder to think what will happen once the insane autonomous cars are legalized and the moron owners simply stop watching the road at al because they're, you know... WORKING while driving.
