(Reuters) - With debate intensifying in the United States over the use of drone aircraft, the U.S. military said on Sunday that it had removed data about air strikes carried out by unmanned planes in Afghanistan from its monthly air power summaries.Because we shouldn't know about what sort of shit gets done in our name, I guess.
So go back to paying attention to some eminently forgettable punk-ass singer or some pregnant quasi-royal or who is the latest clown to be booted off some "reality" show.
Because forget anything that this president ever said about "sunlight being the best disinfectant". Because Obama has, like every other president, at least since Nixon, fallen in love with the power of his job.
And, just like the last guy, he might want to think about restricting his foreign travel after he leaves the job.

So much for the public record.
It used to be thought that the public owned those records.
Amen! That's why I say that both the Democratic and Republican parties are as bad as each other. Neither gives a fig for the Constitution or any vestige of human or civil rights. Their only interest is power.
That's why those on both the left and the right of US politics, who put liberty and individual freedom first, are more allies than opponents - or rather, we should be. We have the same enemies.
Both parties suck, and Peter is right. And hiding the data? Typical of the Prez who was all about transparency(till he got there)...
