After coming forward on social media, a former University of Missouri-Columbia athletics tutor now says she was groomed by her superiors to participate in what she describes as “academic dishonesty.”It would not be shocking to find that this goes on in almost every Division I school. To believe otherwise would require a person to be a member of a college booster club and/or a complete chowderhead.
The tutor, Yolanda Kumar, self reported that she “completed entire courses,” helped with online tests and took entrance exams for student athletes. The effort was encouraged by those to whom she reported, she said.
The Division I football programs are NFL farm teams. If the players receive anything resembling a college education, it is either a happy accident or those players persevered in spite of the system. The idea that they are "student-atheletes" is somewhere between a fiction and a fraud.

Mizzou just settled a similar cheating case with self-punishment, approved by the NCAA. This will not play well, but as an SEC team, there is no risk of a death penalty decision. I would expect a ton of bricks punishment, thou.
