Big Fucking Deal; Rocket Edition

Blue Origin Will Test Its Capsule Abort System ... in Flight!
Yawn.

NASA tested the abort system for the Mercury and Apollo spacecraft in flight. But they built a much cheaper and smaller rocket for the tests, the Little Joe and Little Joe II. One of them came apart in flight and gave the abort system a real-world test.
