My former d-i-l got no prenatal care from the military system during her second pregnancy until she was in her fifth month. And so, at that very late date, they discovered she was carrying a trisomy-18 child. I thank every possible or improbable God out there for the doctors who made sure she got the pregnancy termination she wanted and needed.
