Volkswagens

Have you noticed that in the recent VW ads, they call them "Vee Dubs" rather than "Vee Dubyas," which is what people used to always call them.

I probably can guess at the reason for that...

Gotta disagree there..."Vee-Dub" has been around for forty years that I know of, beginning in the customizing crowd.

I'm 28 and I've never heard the phrase "Vee-Dubya."

Dunno, guys, but where I grew up, it was always "Vee-Dubyas".

Must be an eastern thing...
