TV Or Not TV

A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.
Slava Ukraini!

Imagine, if you will, hooking logs to the stripped down civilian version of that, the S61, and the further stripped down S64 Skycrane for fifteen (15) years
More fun than flying ...
Big, noisy (inside and out), powerful (the downdraft damned near drowned us), and it truly beats the air into submission! :-)
Every once in a great while, one of those beasts flies over my A.O. Those rotors disrupt a lot of air!
I was at a naval research facility (one of the few blue-suit representatives) and they told me that someone wanted to fly a CH-53 in and they were going to mark out a 50'x50' square for it to land. I said "that's no Huey, do you know how big it is" and suggested 150' on a side.
They ended up flying in a UH-1.
