This bears repeating: In two-thirds of the homicides in Minneapolis since New Years Day, the perps have been Feds.
I have to chuckle at all of the Trumpy officials who are foaming at the mouth about some guy who was carrying (not brandishing) a gun at a protest, while forgetting all of the "Second Amendment" demonstrations that have been going on for years, not to mention the Teabagger protests of the early 2010s and, of course, J6.
That's what the Right has always believed, the right to own and carry a gun only applies to them. It's no accident that gun control laws have historically been tighter where there are higher numbers of minorities.
(And the Epstein Files still haven't been released.)

You can't open carry a handgun in my state of California, because of the Black Panthers in the 60s'. The man got scared and banned all gun carrying.

Well, some evidence has it that the 2nd Amendment was an accommodation to southern states for slave revolt suppression militias. We're the slaves now.

I immediately started poking at the 2A/NRA folks about how they would react to a licensed gun carrying US citizen being disarmed and executed, and to my surprise, they are calling for a "full investigation", so I guess enough of them are actually serious to swing at least that. I found it encouraging.

During the Trump Pandemic here in Michigan there was a bunch of Cos-players at the Capitol all togged out like ICE is now, protesting Covid restrictions. As was reported then they stormed the Capitol building and even Fox Noise reported it that way.
Where are these clowns now? Wearing Ice Barbie approved face masks?Waiting for their Bonus Bucks? Hoping for an excuse to do damage?
Celebrating in glee over what's happening now while they collecting their disability pay for an infected toenail?
Most gun people I know (and I know a LOT) are enraged that the claim by the DOJ that the legal carriage of a firearm is somehow an excuse to be shot by Ice or Border Patrol or any LEO. Pretty much 100% feel that way.
