I was not aware of this and just canceled the NEC portion of my pending DigiKey order. I've used a lot of NEC IC's throughout the years in my designs, but this cannot stand, so I'm taking one even though it's a small one. I was asked why the cancelation and gave the blunt truth. Hopefully, it might get back to corporate as will the separate e-mail I sent to NEC.
