The answer is "yes"-- young Republicans are Nazis.
But none of them will join the Army.
Because they are as gutless and cowardly blowhards as is their Orange Godling.

The way I remember it, Mercurochrome, which my dad brought home from his Forest Service first aid kit, didn't hurt as much as the Merthiolate that came from the same kit.

Mercurochrome did not sting; that was Merthiolate which stung.
If I understand correctly, it was not the thimerosal (the mercurial antiseptic) in Merthiolate which stung, it was the alcohol necessary to dissolve it. Mercurochrome (merbromin) dissolves readily in water alone, which is why it did not sting.
And Holy Ascended Madoka, I hope that Army poster is not real.
No, it’s from The Onion.
We still got some Merthiolate at home in the medicine cabinet. It's been there a long time evidenced by the price on it of 29 cents. And it still stings. Better to use some of the newer salves that don't sting at all. Or the alcohol pads (ouch) I keep in the garage so i don't have to walk all the way into the house.
Merthiolate, DAMN that stung! Especially on road rash.
