Troops from several European countries continued to arrive in Greenland on Thursday in a show of support for Denmark as talks among representatives of Denmark, Greenland and the U.S. highlighted “fundamental disagreement” over the future of the Arctic island.

The troop movements were intended to portray unity among Europeans and send a signal to President Donald Trump that an American takeover of Greenland is not necessary as NATO together can safeguard the security of the Arctic region amid rising Russian and Chinese interest..
They aren't there to safeguard Greenland from China and Russia. They are there to be a tripwire, to protect Greenland from the United States. They are there to make it clear that an attack on Greenland is an attack on Denmark and other NATO countries.
And it is exactly what Putin has been grooming Trump for and praying that he would do: Drive a spike into the heart of NATO and make it possible for him to take back the lands of the Soviet Union without running the risk of a nuclear war.
Meanwhile, there are private companies making hay from the ICEstapo. This is who some of them are.

The first video this whatever posted was kinda cool, using what I assumed was native Greenlander music.
The most recent one, though--
The musical style is that of old Soviet propaganda films
The weaponry is all clearly Soviet. T-72 (?), mobile IRBM launchers, etc
The fur hats all have red emblems. Not the Soviet ones, but a person might think so from a distance.
Consider that Trump grew up during the height of the Cold War, and how he might react to seeing an allegedly Greenlander video with such iconography.
I think this is either Russian, intended to goad Trump into actually doing it,
or the work of insider MAGA fanatics, for the same reason.
I saw a comment there to that effect , with a reply that Russia would defend Greenland from the US.

They ought to be giving away MANPADs, Javlins, and nLaw rockets at the corner stores in Greenland.
