Shoot Them Right, They Quit Doing What They're Doing

UPDATE: Colt's Python page.

Shooting a new Python with Ken Hackathorn:

Coming off the trigger each time is indeed important with Colt revolvers.

$1,500 MSRP.

More better than what I expected. I assumed it was going to be Python in name only; it kinda sounds more like natural evolution. I also expected the MSRP to be outlandish.

Cool video. Still dunno if I want one ... kinda do but it's still not on the gotta have list ...

Thanks!

There's a new one on Gun Broker. It's already over $1,900.

I gather that the bidding is by the same sort of people who have to be first in line at the Apple stores.

On the other hand, and to be fair, a S&W 686 is 55% of the cost of a Python, may have a better DA trigger and the jury is out as to how durable is the timing of a new Python.

On the other side of the coin, the Python doesn't have that stupid internal lock and it would be far easier to switch out the front sight.
